Who comes at night in baby’s dream?
All he has heard, smelled, felt and seen
The fuzzy stripes from kitty’s back
White, brown, yellow and black
A bear from the calendar’s page
A baby bird from the neighbor’s cage
Giraffes from his pajama’ sleeves ―
All visit baby when he sleeps
And curly hair from papa’s beard
And this old toy that disappeared
Three piglets, a rabbit, a duck and a sheep
Fly, stroll and dance in baby’s sleep
All those and these will come to him
To sleeping baby in his dream
